Even before the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States, the left has continually demonstrated their hatred for free speech, but only if that speech is contradictory to their leftist views. This hatred for free speech has even come in the form of anti-blasphemy laws passed by the United States Senate. What’s worse is that the latest attempt to subvert free speech came in the form of something called Senate Resolution 118.
Senate Resolution 118, which was supported by Dianne Feinstein, Senator Susan Collins, Senator Kamal Harris, and boy wonder Senator Marco Rubio, states the following: “...condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States.” The obvious problem with this statement is that it is vague in nature and leaves the door open for Americans to be prosecuted for simply stating their opposition to the Islamification of America or any other statement or action which authorities deem as ethnic bias or discrimination. Secondly, Senate Resolution has drafted my EmgageUSA and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. So now we have United States Senators collaborating with organizations that likely have ties to terrorist organizations. These same organizations have declared their strategy for taking over America and putting in place Sharia Law. With the passage of Senate Resolution 118, this is another step that anti-American organizations have implemented to undermine the United States Constitution which is contradictory to the teachings of Sharia law.
Yet these terrorist-sympathizing Senators were proud of their support and passage of Senate Resolution 118, along with all the celebrating America-hating Muslims who drafted the resolution. EmgageUSA, one of the organizations who helped draft the resolution stated the following, “Thanks to the hard work of Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Susan Collins and Senator Kamala Harris we have achieved the approval of Senate Resolution 118, an anti-hate crimes bill drafted by Emerge-USA. It is days like this that Americans are reminded of this country’s founding principles: equal opportunity, freedom, justice. We are proud to help support the protection of these rights #amoreperfectunion #theamericandream.”
Support for Senate Resolution 118 is a bold attack on free speech. Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Dianne Feinstein, and others who supported Senate Resolution 118 in essence committed treason against the United States of America.
In the United Kingdom, there are numerous cases of police spending more time hunting down people for making anti-Islamic tweets than actually going out and arresting criminals. If voters in the United States are not vigilant to remain in contact with their elected representatives, we will soon suffer the same fate. In places like the city of Minneapolis, the Mayor, Betsy Hodges, was allowed to set up a hotline intended to inform on Trump supporters under the guise of protecting Somali Muslim immigrants. The city has turned into a cesspool of crime, and Muslim residents have openly admitted they want Sharia law. This would include advocating for the forced marriage of 15-year-old girls.
One of the great things about the United States of America is that we have free speech, but like any right afforded to us by our founding fathers, we must fight for our rights and actively hold politicians in Washington D.C. accountable when they support the anti-American legislation.
In the world view of the liberal, the rule of free speech only applies to leftist views. If a person takes a position contrary to the mantra of the left, they are labeled a racist and bigot. So the liberal snowflakes in Washington D.C. have now enacted a plan to censor the speech they don’t like, and who knows where it will end. The scary part about Senate Resolution 118, besides the fact it was drafted by Muslim sympathizing organizations, is that this resolution and its wording is a very similar tactic which the Nazis used to limit free speech. Looking at the left and the Democratic Party today, it is hard to tell the difference between their behavior and ideology and that of the Nazi party. If there is doubt and confirmation is needed as to how devolved the left has become, look no further than America’s college campuses and the violence conservative students have been subjected to.
