Last Friday, Donald J. Trump was sworn in as our nation’s 45th president despite the liberal screaming and crying. After the historic event liberals took to social media to gloat that Trump’s turnout was not nearly as big as Obama’s.
Yes, they really are that childish.
Well, as it turns out Trump’s inauguration drew 30.6 million viewers Friday from the 12 networks that streamed the event live. The outlets included: ABC, CBS, NBC, Telemundo, Univision, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business Network, Fox New Channel, Galavision, HLN, and MSNBC. Though it looks as though Fox News received the most averaging 8.8 million viewers from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time.
Also, Trump’s inauguration ranked fifth in total viewers beating out democrat favorite Clinton in 1993. Even Donald Trump took to his personal Twitter account to talk about the epic turnout that day.
Wow, television ratings just out: 31 million people watched the Inauguration, 11 million more than the very good ratings from 4 years ago!

Now we may not have the total numbers since Facebook and Twitter have declined to turn in how many people live streamed it on social media. I wonder why that is? If you think about it that is how most people get their news nowadays. The mainstream media has always been in the past the go-to news source. However, now that social media has popped up and alternative media, people tend to gravitate to Facebook and Twitter to keep abreast of current events.
While maybe the numbers did not beat out Obama’s in 2008 or 2012 there is a simple explanation for that. The reason for that is that conservatives have to actually work for a living. See the majority of Obama supporters who went to the inauguration in the expectation that he would pay their rent and bills that day.
In all honesty, who really cares how many people showed up that day or watched it. I am more concerned over how he will lead this country and return us back to the greatness we were prior to Obama.
What do you think?
