Throughout his presidency, Barack Hussein Obama pretty much did whatever the hell he wanted, the Constitution be damned. But now that Trump is president, he’s draining the swamp and investigating the shady stuff that went on for the past 8 years. And unfortunately for Obama, that means his shady stuff too.
During the election, Obama’s DHS hacked into Georgia state’s election systems that stored voter data. President Trump is now launching an investigation into the incident and the role that Obama played, with Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security, John Roth, leading the investigation.
Roth wants to know why the Department of Homeland Security launched 10 unprecedented cyber attacks on the election system of the state of Georgia. Ten days ago Roth notified Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp that the IG was officially “investigating a series of 10 alleged scanning events at the Georgia Secretary of State’s network that may have originated from DHS affiliated IP addresses.”
The investigation indicates that the state of Georgia and Kemp may have been targeted by the outgoing DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson because of Kemp’s vocal criticism of Johnson’s designation of local and state election devices as part of federal critical infrastructure. It should be noted that this move by Johnson gives the federal government effective control over the elections.
Daily Caller reports:
While the results of this investigation are months away, it is great to see that the Trump administration is turning over every stone to determine and reverse the damage done by extreme left party under Barrack Obama.
Most of Trump’s supporters want to see the corrupt politicians in Washington held accountable for their part in overstepping the sanctity of state sovereignty. It looks like they might just get their way.
