Dems Just Broke Federal Law To STEAL Something From Trump’s Office That Could Endanger American Lives

Liberals have proven to us in recent months that they will do anything to take Trump out, even if that means breaking federal law to do so. But in their latest effort to undermine Trump’s presidency, leftists are not only putting our nation’s secrets at risk, but have endangered the lives of Americans as well.

Reports are surfacing that yet again the Trump Administration is being plagued by another leak. This time coming from the result of a phone call President Donald Trump had with the UK Prime Minister Theresa May. The story, which was reported in The Sun UK, by David Wooding claims a transcript of the call was leaked where President Donald Trump states he will not visit the UK until the press coverage there is more favorable to him. The Sun UK claims that this transcript was seen by senior diplomats and contains the following:

President Donald Trump: I haven’t had great coverage out there lately, Theresa.

PM Theresa May: Well, you know what the British press are like.

President Donald Trump: I still want to come, but I’m in rush. So, if you can fix it for me, it would make things a lot easier. When I know I’m going to get a better reception, I’ll come and not before.

This is not the first time the Trump Administration has had an issue with leaks of President Trump’s phone calls with world leaders. Back in February, Chris Cillizza, from the Washington Post reported that President Trump had a very confrontational phone call with the Australian Prime Minster. President Trump allegedly stated, “this was the worst call by far” that President Trump had with a world leader, and that President Trump also hung up on the Australian PM.

In the instances where this information has been leaked, the news reporting agencies have not identified the source of this information or stated anything with definitive proof that the content of these ‘leaks’ was accurate and truthful. Given what is known about the mainstream media’s reputation, it’s possible these reports and ‘leaks’ could have been fabricated, just as the Trump Russia Dossier was. Also, if these leaked transcripts are indeed accurate, then there is someone in the White House who belongs in jail.

The United States Senate on July 6th, 2017 published a report entitled, “State Secrets: How an Avalanche of Media Leaks is Harming National Security”. In the report, it details how the leaks in the Trump Administration, have continued almost daily since Donald Trump took office in January.

The report also conducted a Lexis search of stories, examining The Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, and The Houston Chronicle. In the same 126-day period, the Bush administration was subjected to 9 leaks, and the Obama Administration had 8 leaks. The Trump Administration has been subjected to a staggering 62 leaks according to the 6 different aforementioned news outlets alone.

The report in its conclusion quotes a Washington D.C. lawyer, Mark S. Zaid, who has defended whistleblowers. Mr. Zaid points out that those in the Trump Administration who is leaking the information and endangering national security are not protected by the law. “As a matter of law, no one who leaks classified information to the media (instead of to an appropriate governmental authority) is a whistleblower entitled to legal protection…..The law appropriately protects only those who follow it.”

The Executive Summary of this report says that these leaks are putting our nation’s secrets at risk, and could cost America citizens lives.

Federal law prohibits the unauthorized release of certain information that could damage our national security. The protection of our nation’s secrets is essential to protecting intelligence activities, sources and methods, preserving the ability of the President to effectively achieve foreign policy objectives, and ultimately to safeguard our country. In short, the unauthorized disclosure of certain information can cost American lives, and our laws protecting this information provide for harsh punishments when violated. Since President Trump assumed office, our nation has faced an unprecedented wave of potentially damaging leaks of information protected by these important laws.

The report can be read in full here on Politico.

To date, only one leaker in the Trump Administration era has been held accountable for their actions, an NSA contractor by the name of Reality Winner. Ms. Winner printed, stole, and then mailed a top secret report to The Intercept. The top secret report discussed Russia’s involvement with attempting to influence the 2016 Presidential election. However, no one from any of the key intelligence agencies or the inner circle of the White House has been arrested or charged.

From the start of Donald Trump’s campaign to his election, the establishment has been trying everything to undermine Trump Administration at the expense national security, with no regard for who gets hurt. President Trump and his team need to get a handle on these leaks quickly before someone gets hurt.
