Meet the 4 traitors of the GOP who have decided to go ahead and throw a wrench into the workings of a bill to repeal the Obamacare Act that so many of us loathe and detest. Senators Shelly Moore Capito, Mike Lee, Susan Collins, and Jerry Moran have decided to throw a “no” vote at the repeal proceedings of Obama care in order to wait to repeal when there is a replacement ready.
That is a bit confusing for the American people when these same senators voted “yes” to a repeal with no replacement in sight in 2015. It becomes a bit fishy when the very people who voted one way suddenly flip-flop against the very thing they wanted previously, and it makes one wonder if they are part of the constant hidden coupe against President Trump and anything he tries to accomplish for this country.
According to Truthfeed :
Senator Shelley Moore and 3 others blocked the opportunity to repeal Obamacare today. So, why did she vote to repeal it in 2015? Is this a direct sabotage against President Trump and the American people? Moore hails from West Virginia – Trump Country, and we have a feeling those voters won’t forget what she today to the American people.
From Breitbart :
Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) said on Tuesday she cannot support a bill to repeal Obamacare without a replacement, even though she voted to repeal Obamacare in 2015. Repealing Obamacare would fulfill a seven-year long promise Republicans made to the American people. Sen. Capito said in a statement, “My position on this issue is driven by its impact on West Virginians. With that in mind, I cannot vote to repeal Obamacare without a replacement plan that addresses my concerns and the needs of West Virginians.”
The West Virginia senator previously voted for the 2015 reconciliation bill that would have repealed Obamacare if there were a Republican in the White House. The 2015 Obamacare repeal made it to President Obama’s desk and Obama vetoed the bill. Now that Americans voted for Donald Trump to repeal Obamacare, Capito says she cannot vote for a bill that would repeal most of Obamacare.

Sen. Susan Collins also admitted on Tuesday that she will not vote to repeal Obamacare. Sens. Collins and Capito’s opposition to an Obamacare repeal bill puts the bill’s odds of passing through the Senate in dire straits.
If roughly 50 Republicans senators support repealing Obamacare, Vice President Mike Pence will have to break the tie. The Senate will also have to wait for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) to return from his convalescence after he had a blood clot removed from above his left eye. The Senate will remain in session until August 11 to pass necessary legislation before breaking for their August recess.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AK) chided Republican senators who might vote against a bill they supported in 2015 when they knew it was largely symbolic, given that Obama planned on vetoing the bill. Sen. Cotton told radio host Hugh Hewitt on Tuesday, “I don’t see how any Republican senator who voted just 18 months ago for this very piece of legislation could now flip-flop 18 months on with Obamacare still inflicting so much harm on Americans, and the fact that we campaigned on this for four straight elections.”
From Politico :
Republican Sens. Mike Lee and Jerry Moran said Monday night they will join two other senators to oppose the Obamacare repeal bill, dooming the GOP initiative in the Senate. With four senators declared “no” votes – and several more undecided – Senate Republicans wouldn’t have enough votes to even start debate on repealing Obamacare, the campaign promise they have made to voters for seven years.
In essence these same Senators have used the repealing of Obamacare to further their political agendas over the past few years, but now refuse to vote for a repeal. We are now left to speculate that it has to do with their own personal feelings on allowing Trump to go forward with MAGA.
This is basically a stab in the back to every American who has ever voted for them based on their previous stance on Obamacare needing to be repealed. This is how the dirty underbelly of politics gets us as citizens in a bind. Pick a stance and stick with if folks because you are being watched a lot closer now than you ever were before Trump became the President and your constituents expect you to uphold your promises.
