John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s former campaign manager appeared on CNN’s “New Day” show with Alisyn Camerota, and the exchange was your typical Trump-bashing session. However, what stood out is that John Podesta admitted that he loses sleep over the fact that Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential election.
Since taking office, President Trump has wasted no time in taking shots at Democrats and Hillary Clinton most of which come after the Democrats attempt to pathetically attack President Trump. In response, President Trump uses facts and logic in a very “Trump” way, which to many in Washington D.C. is unorthodox. Yet, this is a big part of the reason why Donald Trump was elected President. John Podesta stated in his interview with Alisyn Camerota, “You never saw that behavior from any other president who’s talking about the person they beat,” Mr. Podesta said. “I think it really just bugs the hell out of him that she got 3 million more votes than he did, and he keeps coming back to that. Obviously we bear the burden of having lost the Electoral College, so I lose sleep about that every night.”
The problem with Mr. Podesta’s statement is that the 3 million votes he is referring to are largely illegal immigrants who voted for Hillary Clinton. Yet, even with this, Hillary Clinton still lost the election. Secondly, President Trump is talking and tweeting the way he is because he’s simply not going to sit by and let a criminal like Hillary Clinton or the Democrats in Washington D.C. take shots at him without a retort.
The interview then turned to the 50,000 leaked emails which Wikileaks published. These emails were just another nail in the coffin for the Hillary Clinton campaign and revealed everything from Democratic staffers making fun of black people, Mexicans, and gays, to revealing that John Podesta seemingly participates in Satanic worship. Yet Mr. Podesta and Hillary Clinton still can not figure out how they lost the election.
Comically, Hillary Clinton is coming out with a new book called “What Happened,” and this was another topic which Alisyn Camerota and John Podesta delved into. Here is what Mr. Podesta had to say about Hillary’s new book and what she does when she gets knocked down. “I think [Hillary Clinton has] reflected on the mistakes that she made, what she might have done different, but I think she’ll also talk [in her upcoming book] about where the country is and how to move forward, that’s what she’s always done in her life when she’s gotten knocked down. She’s tried to make a positive contribution coming out of that, and I think that that’s what this book will attempt to do.”
The aforementioned statement which John Podesta makes about Hillary’s book and how she deals with adversity is extremely obtuse. Hillary Clinton’s track record demonstrates that she resorts to lies, criminal acts, and intimidation when the chips are stacked against her. This was revealed in the leaked emails showing that the Democratic Primary was rigged in Hillary Clinton’s favor, effectively circumventing the Democratic process and voiding all the votes for Bernie Sanders. Then there were the debate questions Hillary Clinton got ahead of time, yet she still lost the debate. Still, John Podesta, along with Hillary Clinton, can’t figure out why they lost? Perhaps it is because Hillary Clinton is the most corrupt Presidential candidate we have ever seen. During a majority of her campaign she was under federal investigation which was met with obstruction and secret meetings on a tarmac with the acting Attorney General at the time.
Since the election of Donald Trump to the office of President of the United States, Democrats and Hillary Clinton supporters have been in denial. Like the left predictably does, they felt as if somehow Hillary was entitled to the Presidency. They cheated, got caught, and still lost. This is what happened. President Trump did not need to collude with anyone to win. The Democrats made this mess themselves, and perhaps this is the real reason why John Podesta and others are loosing sleep over the election of President Trump. Sure, President Trump says and does things which are not perceived as “Presidential,” but this is why he was elected. Hillary Clinton represented everything that is wrong with Washington D.C., and Donald Trump was the antithesis of this. Americans voted for a real person to sit in the oval office, not another career politician who felt they were entitled.
