Titans Player Has Disgusting Message For Angry Fans Disgusted By His Anti-American Protests

As the National Football League continues to deal with the financial fallout of players taking a knee during the national anthem, one player is doubling down on his disrespect for America and the fans that pay for his inflated salary. Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker has said he has no issue with fans not coming to Titans games or tuning in if they are offended by his disgusting behavior.

Last week when the Tennessee Titans played the Seattle Seahawks, the entire team refused to take the field for the national anthem. Speaking of the teams disrespect toward Titans fans and America, Delanie Walker said, “First off, I’m going to say this: We’re not disrespecting the military, the men, and women that serve in the Army. That’s not what it’s all about. If you look at most of the guys in here – I’ve been in the USO. I support the troops. This is not about that. It’s about equal rights, and that’s all everyone is trying to show, is that we all care about each other. And the fans that don’t want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel that’s something, we’re disrespecting you, don’t come to the game. You don’t have to. No one’s telling you to come to the game. It’s your freedom of choice to do that.” This is a bold and ignorant statement, to say the least.

What Delanie Walker and the rest of his fellow NFL protestors forget is that despite them being at the USO and claiming to support the troops, their actions say otherwise. No one is saying he or his teammates have to change their political views, but when you protest by disrespecting the national anthem with taking a knee, this not only is an offense to the anthem but all the men and women who have served and continue to serve to protect this country. Mr. Walker’s comments are not only disrespectful, but he is apparently ignorant of the financial consequences of his sentiments. If fans don’t come to the games or tune in, his inflated salary goes away. The NFL has already seen an 11% drop in ratings, along with a 17.9% decrease in ticket sales from last week. With Mr. Walker claiming not to care about the fans, these negative financial consequences will only continue to grow.

Fellow Tennessee Titans teammate Logan Ryan backed up Delanie Walker’s comments with the following, “That’s their choice. That’s the beauty of this country; everyone is entitled to their own opinion and everyone’s opinion is equal. So right, wrong or indifferent, that’s the beauty of this country — that everyone should have equal rights and equal opinions on what they want. If they don’t want to watch, that’s their choice. That’s perfect.” What Logan Ryan and his comrades forget is that with these equal rights and equal choice, fans have the right and the choice not to attend the games. The commissioner of the NFL Roger Goodell and team owners are already in panic mode because of the disastrous ticket sales numbers and a decline in ratings. Ratings have been so low that the NFL has had to refund advertisers, and fans are not only boycotting the NFL but any company doing business with the NFL.

The coach of the Tennessee Titans has taken the coward’s way out, refusing to even answer the media’s questions about his players disrespecting the fans and the national anthem. During a recent press conference, coach Mike Mularkey said, “I know you have to ask, and I don’t have to answer. Again, I’m sticking to my statement. I’m going to leave it at that. And I appreciate you not asking again.” According to this statement, coach Mike Mularkey seems to be afraid of his players, and this is the head coach?

Since releasing a statement calling President Trump’s comments divisive and disrespectful, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has not made any further statements. This is likely because he is too busy dealing with the reality that the NFL stands to lose billions of dollars because of his ignorance.

For those of you who want to watch real football with athletes who respect the national anthem and America, head on over to the Legends Football League. The league, which was formerly known as the Lingerie Football League, stated that none of the teams, players, or owners intend on taking a knee during the national anthem because it is disrespectful, and something too scared to protest. This is a concept which seems to have escaped a majority of these NFL brats and their ignorant commissioner.
