Bill O’Reilly took to his podcast, “No Spin News,” to let us all in on a bit of a twist that will be coming out in light of the sexual harassment accusations against him and Fox News that ultimately resulted in them firing him. Of course, the allegations were highly suspicious considering O’Reilly’s job as a conservative commentator. However, no one did a thorough investigation and here we are today. Well, now Bill has broken his silence and what he had to say will shake some people up.
At the beginning of his podcast, O’Reilly states that he was shocked to have been fired from Fox News.
“I am sad that I’m not on television anymore. I was very surprised how it all turned out. I can’t say a lot because there’s much stuff going on right now,’ he said in the podcast.
‘But I can tell you that I’m very confident the truth will come out, and when it does, I don’t know if you’re going to be surprised – but I think you’re going to be shaken, as I am. There’s a lot of stuff involved here.”
O’Reilly continued: ‘Now, I can’t say any more because I just don’t want to influence the flow of the information.
‘I don’t want the media to take what I say and misconstrue it.
‘However you, as a loyal O’Reilly listener, have a right to know, I think, down the lane what exactly happened. And we are working in that direction, okay?’
Instead of continuing the conversation with the former employer, Bill switched the topic to current events.
According to Truth Monitor, O’Reilly then took a call from a loyal fan who said it was “Old school of O’Reilly to wish Fox News the best”.
“Look, I was there for twenty years and six months. We made history, put cable news on the map and were successful all that time,” O’Reilly responded. “No ebb and flow, just straight up the graph. You know, that vehicle was fabulous for me and I said in the beginning that I’m sad, but why wouldn’t I wish them the best? They were there, we performed well for them, and that’s the fact.”
O’Reilly is a classy guy and for him to wish Fox News all the best shows his maturity in the matter. He knows that the truth will eventually be revealed that he was not a part of this and his name will be cleared.
Sometimes it is best to just sit back and allow things to work themselves out without our intervention.
Fox News knows that they jumped the gun but as we have suspected they are attempting to “clean out” conservatives hosts. Hopefully, this will change and soon since we do need to strong conservative voices speaking out.
I wish O’Reilly all the best in his new venture and pray that the truth is eventually revelaed. What do you think about what O’Reilly had to say? Was it “old school”, or should he have come out swinging?
