CNN has long been the lead head-hunter of the Anti-Trump mainstream media cult and it looks like they are never gonna stop. Story spins, outright lies and a lack of unbias reporting are the stepping stones for modern day television media channels and it is creating an ignorant viewer basis.
Now CNN is even spinning Harvard surveys to encase themselves in a bright and shiny light that doesn’t actually exist.
Via Daily Caller:
John Berman strayed into questionable territory Sunday while discussing a recent Harvard study on the media’s coverage of President Trump’s first 100 days in office.
“Is the White House besieged by crisis, or is President Trump besieged by the media attempting a sort of coup?” Berman posed to his CNN audience. “It really all depends on where you turn your dial to get your news. This is according to a new study from the Harvard Shorenstein Center on Media Politics that analyzed news coverage of the President’s first 100 days and found that the coverage quote ‘set a new standard for unfavorable coverage of a President, with Fox News being the only outlet where the majority of the coverage was positive.”
CNN then displayed the following graphic, captioned, “FOX NEWS ONLY OUTLET WITH OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE COVERAGE.”
There’s just one problem.
Those numbers only reflect a portion of the study’s findings, specifically the breakdown of news reports regarding the president’s fitness for office.
While the study found that Fox News did provide the most favorable coverage of all television outlets, the split was much more fair and balanced, with 52 percent of the network’s reporting featuring a “negative” tone while only 48 percent was “positive.”
Conversely. CNN’s coverage of the president betrays a much more biased slant, with a whopping 93 percent of the content featuring a “negative” spin.
So much for being “Reliable Sources.”
The mainstream media has become nothing more than satire sites and a comedy show. We know none of it can be trusted and we often debunk them long before they even try to actually run and spin a story. Yet, people still tune in to see the epic train wrecks of the day.
Harvard University, should by all rights, slam CNN for chopping up and falsely reporting their time consuming and very informative survey on the basis that it makes Harvard look less than honest when presented the way CNN chose to outline it.
Spinning the rhetoric to favor the elitist left will not do much but backfire on all media sources soon. A lie can only be backed up by more lies which will inevitably all converge into an explosive and probably comical on-air crumbling of the CNN empire.
What do you think about the constant rearranging of facts to fit the mainstream medias choice of narrative? Is it acceptable that “trusted news sources” are using their air-time and names to lie to the American people while not actually reporting any real news? Let us know is the comments!
